8 is gr8!

well our oldest is 8 now--i feel our parenting shifting into a new phase--scary. but we are so proud of our goosie mooosie. kendra is still just as nurturing and loving to her siblings...now she just has lots of other interests too. on her day her highlights were: the salad shoppe with friends, spa afternoon, and staying up too late with Madison. her birthday was just wonderful. i surprised her with every little edible eight thing i could think of. Grannie Annie took in yum yum popcorn balls to her class and we just showered her with love and good times all day and nite. now we can shift the celebrating to baptism mode which we are all so so excited for.

What a doll! She's so lucky to have a party mom. Can't believe how fast time flies!

What fun ideas for the big 8 :) That was Hunter last year- and parenting does feel different. We will look forward to hearing about her baptism. Okay, we celebrated our 10th anniversary this year too, and I send three to school, with one at home. It is always fun to read about what you are up to. You are such a fun person!

so so so cute. she is such a sweetheart. i love that kendra. she was the first baby born of my friends, so she'll always represent that "going into the next phase of life" for me. i remember seeing you with her as a baby and thinking, "wow, my friend has a baby. this is insane."

now look at us.
